Located inside South Pointe Casino, Coronado Cafe is always a good idea. Although their menu is versatile and affordable...The food was excellent. Not at all what I'd expected. It gets pretty loud because it's location is in the middle of the Casino. The ambience is casual not intimate.Wear what you like.Best for families, large groups etc. I love that the staff is very supportive of each other. There is a beverage server as well as your waitstaff that comes in to check on you.Our waitress Ms. Maria from New Mexico was great. She was patient and helped me choose because I was being a little indecisive. She recommended The Chinese cuisine. The Chinese cuisine menu is a must if you go here to dine. We ordered the orange chicken which came with fried rice and crispy fried wontons chips with 3 sauces. Total bill under $30(Not including tip). I would definitely recommend this place for locals and visitors that are staying on the Enterprise, Nevada, south of the Las Vegas Strip.

One of my favorite late night spots for steak and eggs. Even though the price has risen, you can't complain! I got in line at 11:40pm and was all the way at the back, but once midnight hit we were able to get in quick. I get my steak medium rare with a side of country gravy for the sourdough toast :) It gets busy especially on the weekends, so I suggest coming right before they open the late night menu.

I hate to eat late @ night but after my friend & I had gone out to a show & did some gambling on the strip we decided to hit up the cafe inside Southpoint as I remember they have breakfast specials @ midnight & I was starving. I always get an omelet with a grilled bagel & man I don't know why the cooks ALWAYS seem to have a hard time making a "grilled" bagel. You just need to apply butter onto a bagel & place it face down onto the grill until it gets to a nice golden brown. It's so crispy & delicious but the other night I kept getting a toasted bagel. I felt bad to keep sending it back but our waitress was awesome about it. (I will come back to insert her name here) Finally the chef had to make it because the female cook just couldn't get it right. I just LOVE grilled bagels so I'm glad the waitress didn't give up on me & that the chef got it right. Hopefully the chef taught the cook how to make them because it's really not that hard but it always seems to be an issue here.....sigh! I got a yummy ham, onion & cheese omelet that to my surprise I ate it all. Hash Browns were ok but not my favorite. I got sourdough bread with my meal which was coming with it anyways because I was told they couldn't substitute my bread for a bagel so I got both. That was tasty. I also asked for "soggy" bacon, I told the waitress I don't like it crispy and that didn't even come out "soggy" it was hard but I ate it anyways. Service was excellent even though our waitress was busy as it was easy to see with her running around & waiting on other tables. My friend tipped her but I gave her an extra $5.00 for making sure I got my bagel grilled. The food usually comes out in a reasonable time but we may have had to wait a little longer tonight. This place is always busy for late night eats. My friend got the steak & egg special & cleared his plate. I need to remember about this place to come back & try other food items during the day time.

Just had breakfast here and the service was amazing. Got right in and the waitress was on point, took my order right away, had my drink out to me literally within 30 seconds (and refilled it twice during my stay at the perfect time) Ordered the scrambled eggs, potatoes with sausage. It was good, sausage was burnt but eggs and potatoes were excellent

This is located in the casino of the South Point Hotel. It is an open air concept, but I've noted that they've really done a good job with their air ventilation and filtration because it doesn't smell as smoky as the casino itself. I stay at the South Point every year for a work conference and this is always a consistent restaurant. It's like an old fashioned diner with an extensive menu and is actually open 24/7 so that's nice to have a dining option whenever you want right in the hotel. Have never had a bad meal here and it's usually my goto for breakfast. It can get crowded, but the line to be seated moves pretty fast. I was there on St. Patrick's day and they had a some special offerings on the 17th. I ordered the St. Patrick's Benedict. It was corned beef, spinach hollandaise, and two poached eggs on grilled sourdough. It was good and my hashbrowns were done to absolute perfection! One of my dining companions had avocado toast that looked really good. At another visit on the same trip, I wasn't particularly hungry and ordered their Old Fashioned Chicken Noodle Soup and oh wow it was delicious! My dining companions ordered the 9th Island Breakfast. Fun Fact that I learned the last time I was in Oahu: Las Vegas is affectionately called the 9th Island now because so many Hawaiians have moved there. Anyway, the 9th Island breakfast included rice, eggs, Portuguese sausage, and Spam. The Spam is the full sodium version so you will notice the difference if you normally buy the reduced sodium tin. Both thought they had bottom of the pot rice because it was hard and crunchy. The Pucker Up Smoothie was not enjoyable to the one who ordered it. They offer a late night menu that has some pretty good prices, but I've never had the opportunity to visit during those times. I ordered room service one morning and had their Bucking Bull Omelette. It has chili, cheese, and onions. It was really good!!

Great typical breakfast place with Asian/chinese options. I gave 4 stars since service here was great!!! We got a Hawaiian breakfast plate with eggs/spam, pad Thai, beef dish, and gyozas. I love the variety. The pad Thai was okay but tasted more like Singaporean noodles. Beef was okay. Gyozas were good and Hawaiian breakfast as well. Ambiance- causal. Surprisingly crowded.

Vegas certainly has changed. Well, let me clarify. I'm not referring to the stereotypical "when the mob ran the town" stories. I'm referring to casino basics. Free parking, white tigers, buffets, showgirls, and most relevant to this review, 24 hour coffee shops. Not more than 10 years ago every single hotel casino in Las Vegas had a 24 hour coffee shop with generally good prices, large menus, and plenty of hungover tourists. These places have largely disappeared or evolved into food courts and limited hour overpriced café's. Although Station casinos still have their 24 hour places, they went lightly upscale and converted their Grand Café's to Brass Forks or Spoons or whatever. But I digress. South Point is truly keeping the dream alive with a classic, well staffed, affordable, and high quality 24 Hour Coffee shop called Coronado Cafe. It's almost always very busy with locals and tourists alike. Late night specials, a phenomenal Chinese menu, breakfast 24/7, and no takeout allowed. It's classic late 90's Vegas. They even have the old school service staff where there's a beverage server as well as food server. South Point is special for many reasons. It's one of the only completely privately owned casino resorts, with ownership being held 100% by Michael Gaughan. It has a massive bowling centre, movie theater, equestrian centre, buffet, and a classic 24 hour coffee shop that never disappoints.

This place is located inside the South point Hotel and casino on S.Las Vegas Blvd. It's their 24hr coffee shop restaurant. Service is very friendly and they kept coming around our table for beverage refills. I had their Friday special you cannot go wrong @ $12.95 French dip roast beef sandwich w/ either Potato salad or French fries. I would definitely come back if I'm gambling at the South Point hotel and casino in the future.
